**Beef Brisket Silken Tofu Stew**
<Main Ingredients>
1 pack of silken tofu (MarketVan)
150g beef brisket (Chowon beef brisket 1/3 pack)
Green onion
<Seasoning>
1T sesame oil
1T cooking oil
2T fish sauce
2T soup soy sauce
1 cup water
1T minced garlic
1.5T red pepper powder
Wash and chop the green onion finely.
In a pan, add 1T sesame oil, 1T cooking oil, and 1T minced garlic (using a rice spoon) and sauté over low heat to make garlic oil.
Be careful not to burn the garlic by using low heat!
Once the garlic is sautéed, add the beef brisket.
Now stir-fry the beef brisket in the garlic oil.
When the meat is cooked a bit, add 1.5T of red pepper powder and stir-fry.
(If you like it spicy, use 1.5T, if you don’t like it spicy, just use 1T.)
The garlic oil you made by sautéing the garlic will create red pepper oil as the red pepper powder and meat are stir-fried together.
Pour in enough hot water from a kettle to cover the meat slightly. Once it comes to a boil, add the silken tofu.
Put the silken tofu into the stew whole and cut it into quarters with a spoon.
Add the chopped green onion. Now add 1T each of fish sauce and soup soy sauce to adjust the seasoning.
