This is fresh pork belly from local Vancouver, vacuum-packed and never frozen. It's a fresh cut of meat.
Because it is aged during the distribution process after vacuum packaging, you can experience an even firmer and richer texture.
Due to the characteristics of local pigs, the fat content in the pork belly is generally higher compared to Korean pigs. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
Excess fat from the original meat will be carefully trimmed and removed.
It is sliced to a thickness of 8-9mm, making it easy to cook on a frying pan or a simple burner (thicker 1-1.5cm pork belly is sold separately).
