Description
Sea cucumber contains sweet-tasting amino acids such as glycine and alanine, giving it a sweet and savory flavor. Its unique texture, shaped without joints, provides a truly distinctive chewiness. Sea cucumber is rich in apharaginic acid, which is good for relieving hangovers, making it perfect for drinking snacks. It is also ideal for use in salads or stir-fried dishes!!
There is another delicious way to enjoy it besides sashimi.
It's grilling. When lightly grilled, it becomes really sweet. It is one of the popular ways to eat it in Japan.
[Grilled Sea Cucumber Recipe]
1. Cut off the end of the sea cucumber with a knife.
2. Squeeze it gently, and blood and internal organs will come out through that spot.
3. Wash it clean in water.
4. Cut it into a size that is easy to eat with a knife.
5. Grill it lightly over charcoal or in a frying pan without burning it. (If cooked too long, it will burn, so just cook it lightly.)
