Vancouver local fresh pork belly. It is fresh meat that is distributed vacuum-packed without ever being frozen.
Since it is aged during the distribution process after vacuum packing, you can experience a firmer and richer texture.
(Due to the nature of vacuum packing, blood may be visible in the fresh meat, this does not mean the meat is bad; it becomes softer due to wet aging in a vacuum state. Wipe it lightly with a paper towel and enjoy, judge by taste!)
Due to the characteristics of local pigs, the fat content of the pork belly is generally higher than that of Korean pigs. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
